When trying to update a row of data in a gridview that is in edit mode, the Row Updating and Row Updated events never fire. I'm really looking for another way of setting up the Tab View control correctly without causing these problems.
It's quite straight forward - and works well for the most primitive data types. Loading seems not to be the issue - the conversion from postgres to works fine - but on Update - the exceptions are thrown. If you need help compiling/running with NUnit let me know.

This might occur if the Update Panel was removed from the control tree and later added again, which is not supported.

Can you please try to run this specific unit test (not within your program) and confirm that on your setup produces an exception?
