After spending four years in the Military Police with the United States Air Force and 37 years at various police agencies around the country including eight years as the Police Chief in Le Roy, Beck knows it’s time for something new. “It feels like I’ve done as much as I can possibly do to help the City of Le Roy and get them prepared to do things if something bad were to go down.” Beck has done just that, implementing new training programs and allowing the Le Roy police officers to work at their full potential.
One of the ways Beck was so successful with that was his career-long certification as a trainer.
Le Roy Police Chief Gordon Beck recently announced his resignation from the police department and will end his eight-year reign as Chief in Le Roy at the end of this month.
